"I basically moved into the bathroom." - MMJ21
What it is: A frequent urge to pee - sometimes more than once an hour!
What causes it: Hormones increase blood flow to your kidneys, making them work faster. Your growing uterus also puts pressure on your bladder.
When it starts and ends: Frequent urination can begin as early as week 4 and peaks in the third trimester.
"I have to go again practically before I've left the bathroom!" - bromstar
What to do about it: Lean forward while peeing to fully empty your bladder. Avoid drinking too many fluids right before bedtime.
When to talk to the doctor: If you feel pain, or always feel like you have to go but can't, your doctor can test for a UTI.
