Kristin Cohen, DNP, CNM, WHNP-BC, is a certified nurse midwife and a board certified women’s health nurse practitioner.
As a midwife and nurse practitioner, Cohen specializes in providing evidence-based, patient-centered care that emphasizes health promotion, shared-decision making, and limiting intervention in natural physiologic processes.
Experience
Cohen currently practices in New Jersey, where she cares for people during labor and birth, as well as throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period.
She also provides gynecological care to people of all ages, including annual exams, health screenings, and contraceptive management.
Before becoming an advanced practice nurse, Cohen worked for many years as a labor and delivery nurse, as well as in home care and infection prevention.
Education
Cohen received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Rutgers University. She holds a B.S. in biology from University of Mary Washington and a B.S. in nursing from the University of Maryland-Baltimore.
