Amazon’s October Prime Day ended yesterday, but quite a few other retailers are hosting alternative sales that are just as good (if not better). And as a mom who loves nothing more than a solo shopping trip to Target, I’m especially excited about the retailer's “anti-Prime Day” sale — Target Circle Week.
It’s no secret that Target already has amazing prices, but from now until October 12, you can score deeper discounts on hundreds of mom essentials. Think 5-star kitchen appliances to help with dinner prep, fall clothes for the entire family and skincare products that keep your and baby’s skin safe from the winter elements. You can also save on last-minute Halloween costumes and decorations, as well as toys to get ahead of holiday shopping.
Based on my personal and professional know-how, I’ve found the most worthwhile Prime Day-level Target deals for moms.
Best Target Prime Day Deals
An array of nursing bras
You can never have too many nursing bras — the leaks will happen, and they will stain, trust me! So, you might as well take advantage of the 20% off deal on select nursing and non-nursing bras. The two I’d recommend are the Kindred Bravely Sublime Hands-Free Pumping & Nursing Bra ($41.60 $52), with its wireless design and soft material that kept me comfortable all day, and the Auden Seamless Sleep Bra ($16 $20), which provided great support at night.
A twist on the Target diaper deal
Target is known for its diaper deals, but the Target Circle Week diaper sale is especially good. For the next week you can earn a $15 gift card when you buy two enormous diaper boxes. Winter is coming, and Target Circle Week is a great time to prepare your closet for the seasonal transition. This includes cozy tops from Universal Thread, Target’s line of high-quality clothing, and bump-friendly attire from Isabel Maternity, which is sold exclusively at Target.
An entire Cat & Jack winter wardrobe
I’m dreading the day when my daughter outgrows Cat & Jack clothes. But since that’s years away, I fully plan on taking advantage of the current Cat & Jack deal: 30% off sweatshirts, pants and fall sets. Not only are Cat & Jack clothes adorably stylish (I’ve yet to see an obnoxiously bright color or shimmer of glitter), but they are made of strong fabric that can withstand the roughest play and countless washes. Trust me: Half of my daughter’s wardrobe is Cat & Jack hand-me-downs.
Super absorbent towels
On a rare solo outing to Target, I snagged these thick, yet soft Pillowfort hooded towels, which are currently 30% off. They are slightly larger than typical baby towels, so you can wrap them around your child for extra warmth post-bathtime. The ultimate toddler shoe
Crocs have become the go-to shoe brand for toddlers, and it’s easy to see why. While most people associate Crocs with sunnier days, the brand also makes rain boots and fur-lined clogs that are perfect for winter.
All the winter wonderland decór
It’s never too early to think about (and plan) for the winter holidays — especially if you can take advantage of Target Circle Week’s 30% off holiday decór sale. I’m talking stockings, lights and ornaments. I’m even tempted by the hyper realistic artificial trees, which are also included in the sale. I love an evergreen as much as the next Hallmark movie girl, but artificial trees are a huge time and money saver.
Meal prep tools
I’ve been gradually upgrading my kitchen with gear that not only cuts down on meal prep time but also makes dinner prep easier. Several of my go-to items are included in Target Circle Week’s 50% off kitchen appliances deal. My meal prep MVP? This Cuisinart toaster oven that bakes, broils, toasts, roasts, and even air-fries. To that I say, why not snatch up both the wooden blocks and sing-a-long puzzle while both are still in stock?
Loads of LEGO sets
30% off
If I’m being honest, Amazon’s LEGO deals are a tad lackluster. But Target Circle Week is knocking 30% off a bunch of the builder block brand’s themed sets. As a Harry Potter fan, I’m tempted to store this Diagon Alley recreation until my toddler is older, but it’s a great gift for those ages 8 and up, too.
Last-minute Halloween costumes for the whole family
While my little one already has her costume secured, the whole family can dress up for less if I take advantage of Target’s buy-one-get-one-half-off deal. (This includes Halloween candy, too, if you still need to stock up on sweets for your trunk-or-treating plans).
